4 week workout plan to lose belly fat

When you’re trying to lose weight, the biggest challenge to adopting a weight-loss workout plan is finding a regimen that fits seamlessly into your life.

But don’t worry! We’ve created a 4-week workout plan to lose belly fat that you can do pretty much anywhere – indoors or outdoors, at home or in the gym, on a track, or in your driveway- with only minimal equipment.

DIRECTIONS

On each day, do the corresponding workout in order alongside the corresponding warmup.
Keep your weekends free. We should note, however, that any weight loss program should encompass healthy eating, minimal or no alcohol, and an active weekend lifestyle of sports and outdoor activities that will complement your work during the week.

THE WARM-UPS

Do Warmup A on Day 1 and Day 3. Do Warmup B on Day 2 and Day 4.

WARMUP A

• Cobra Pose (10 reps)
• Knee Hug (10 each side)
• Inverted Hamstring (10 reps)
• Lateral Lunge (10 reps each side)
• Front-Plank (Hold for 30 sec.)
• Side-Plank (set of 10 each side, hold for 2 sec. each)

WARMUP B

• Cat/Cow Pose (10 each)
• Glute Bridge (10 reps)
• Lateral Lunge (10 reps each side)
• Backward Lunge (10 reps each side)
• Knee Hug (10 reps each side)
• Butt Kicks (10 reps each side)

4 WEEK WORKOUT PLAN TO LOSE BELLY FAT

WEEK 1

Workout 1 – Interval running workout
1-mile warmup (light jog/walking)
Workout 2 – Jump Squats
Workout 3 – 4 Times Abs

WEEK 2

Workout 1 – Plank hip dip
Workout 2 – Plank jacks

WEEK 3

Workout 1 – Half V Tucks
Workout 2 – 4 times abs
Workout 3 – Windshield Wiper

WEEK 4

Workout 1 – Half Boat
Workout 2 – Flutter Kicks
Workout 3 – Groomers

Aim to complete 2 sets in week x25 reps for each exercise.

Foods to limit if you want to lose fat

Processed foods: Dense in calories, carbs, fats and sugars, these are essentially a belly fat inducing combination – typically they’re nutritionally unsatisfying but mood-wise pretty feel good, meaning you can’t help but eat more. And more.

Alcohol: Seven calls per gram may not sound like much but one or two G&Ts later and they soon add up. Plus, because the breakdown of alcohol is prioritized, its energy quickly tops up glycogen supplies with the remainder being stored as fat.
